Navratri is on, celebrated nine days all over Gujarat and all over the world where there are gujaratis. Its festival of spirit, excitement, enthusiasm all nine days. Atmosphere starts becoming electric when sun sets off and moon sets in. Oh ! lights all above and around. Symbolic color of divinity Red everywhere. Let other people comment ill about the misuse of these days by youths. Navratri does not stand for this. Infect never been. There is only word that Navratri belongs to – MAA; Goddess. Don’t believe? Just go any garba spot. Listen to the music and try to smell the air. Simply you will have fragrance of Divinity. If not then only one person to blame, you only. Sharpen your senses. Let corrosion of impurity melt in your thoughts. And then feel the divine rhythm. Because its NAVRATRI, festival of Maa (Goddess). Have you ever heard, “ Aavo to ramvane, madi mare tane jova chhe; tamne ramta re, garbe ghumta re.” (Come goddess to play garba, I want to see you playing Garba.) What a authentic request !
